Each week you give me food for thought. This week's theme - dreaming and aliveness struck a chord. The notion of "aliveness" is the result of a process. The process is when I make time to be alone and quiet. My mind is then allowed to dream. Dreaming gets creative juices flowing. The fun part comes when I actualize the dream. I call this aliveness! Usually involved gardening!!
Great take on this Barbara!! I tend to dream in the quiet before sleep or if I wake up earlier than I need to. I agree with those times for creative juices. And the results!!
Thank you for this Mary. I am in exactly the same place as these women. I am 68, and have just begun writing again after a 40-year break. The dream is more tangible and real than it has ever been and yet I am hesitant to give up the job that's making me crazy. Thanks so much for this encouraging chapter.

I love the multiple character threads, and the idea of chasing hopes & dreams at all ages. My mother and I used to swap books on these themes often. 💕
